The bell shell is made of yellow ground colored flower painting enamel decorated with bamboo, chrysanthemum, narcissus, plum, peony, peach, grape, etc. There are dials on all sides. On the front dial, there were foreign letters imitated by craftsmen, a phenomenon that was common in folk made clocks and watches and was a fashion at that time. There is a hole in the upper part of the dial, and inside there is a red coat heavenly officer holding a fold. The couplets are arranged on both sides of the hole and are written on a rotatable triangular copper pillar. Each side of the pillar rotates, different couplets are changed. There are three pairs of couplets in total: “National Grace and Family Celebration, Long Life and Abundant Years”, “Abundant Resources, Heavenly Treasures, Outstanding People, and Spiritual Land”, “Harmony with the World, Pure Custom, Beauty, and Style”
