[Black paint painted with golden flowers wooden building clock]
Black paint painted with golden flowers wooden building clock, during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, with a total height of 79 centimeters, a face width of 49 centimeters, and a thickness of 49 centimeters
The bell is modeled after a traditional temple building, with the bell shell painted in gold paint on the black paint floor with patterns of plum, bamboo, and chrysanthemum. Open the pavilion door to see the clock dial. The clock dial has the obvious characteristics of the Qianlong imperial clock. The middle circle is painted with yellow enamel and flowers. The five string holes used to activate the timing, timing, engraving, hair changing, and clock making system are arranged in the lower half of the middle circle. The upper half of the middle circle has a blue border painted with white enamel, and there are four characters in the blue regular script “Qianlong Year System” inside. Roman numerals representing time are written on the white enamel time ring. The remaining space outside the moment ring is yellow enamel consistent with the central pattern. “This type of colored dial has a more complex process and better viewing effect than a single colored enamel dial, which is one of the differences between imperial clocks and clocks from other origins.”.
