In the Qing Dynasty, the production of imperial ink in the imperial court was all made by the “ink works” of the Imperial Book Office. In the early years of Qianlong’s reign, “Mozuo” repeatedly classified and collected the remains of the previous dynasty, and destroyed and rebuilt various types of broken ink. In the early years of Qianlong’s reign, the “ink work” of the Imperial Book Office continued to follow the old system, specializing in the production of imperial ink for the internal court. The production of its ink products, on the one hand, is a new production of ancient ink, and on the other hand, is an innovative style, both reflecting the production style of imperial ink in the Qianlong Dynasty
