The Chonghua Palace was originally the second of the five Qianxi temples in the Ming Dynasty. Emperor Qianlong was the residence of the emperor when he was his son. He had lived here since he married at the age of seventeen. Therefore, after his accession to the throne, he upgraded it to the Palace and became known as the Chonghua Palace. Emperor Qianlong attached great importance to this place of Longxing, where he “studied diligently and talked about kingly ways.” He believed that this was a place where he “lived as a young person, practiced as a long person, and practiced for more than 40 years.” Therefore, every New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, he would sit here less. Xinzheng and his ministers had a tea banquet as an example. The palace was an extremely important venue for Emperor Qianlong’s activities
