This carpet is produced in Beijing, and its design is based on court paintings from the Qianlong period. The weaving method adopts the traditional weaving techniques of Xinjiang Uyghur people, such as “8-character buckle” and “pulling and twisting over the weft”. It is manually woven with uniform gold and silver threads and velvet threads. Its technique is exquisite and exquisite, with a unique style. The center of the blanket is woven into a horizontal herringbone pattern with folded gold threads, and the back is woven into a horizontal herringbone pattern with silk threads. The main part of the front is composed of patterns of magnolia, begonia, peony, ganoderma lucidum, bamboo, mountain stones, and butterflies with silk threads, which have the meaning of “Yutang wealth and honor”.
