Xiao, also known as Dong Xiao, is a single pipe, vertically blown. The upper end of the pipe body is sealed with natural bamboo knots, with half oval blowholes open on the side. The two sound holes at the tail end are opposite to each other, and the bottom end of the pipe is open.
