The disk is in the shape of a lotus leaf, with the leaf surface rolling and undulating. The stem of the leaf passes through the branch from behind the leaf, and the edge of the leaf surface is pasted with flower buds and lotus seeds that are in bud. There are movable lotus seeds in the lotus seed, and there are snails and rhombus shaped feet attached to the bottom of the instrument. The bottom book is a four-character version of the blue and white seal script made in the Qianlong era
The so-called “citron plate” refers to a small fruit plate displayed in the ancient study. It is often placed with yellow citron or bergamot, which can emit a pleasant aroma and add a lot of elegance. The shape and glaze color of this ware are deliberately imitated from natural objects.
