The outer edge of the cover and the box body are decorated with a lotus hook pattern, which is clear. The box is lined with bright black paint. “Qianlong Appreciation and Play” in Yangwen regular script is signed inside the circle foot
The box contains a small and exquisite red sandalwood box containing a volume of the “Book of the Da Ming Mantra of the Later Qi Dynasty”.
