Birch Gui Style Table

[Birch Gui Style Table]

The Qing Emperor Qianlong, with a height of 80 centimeters, a length of 145 centimeters, and a width of 70 centimeters
This case is made of birch wood, resembling an ancient ritual utensil called Gui. The surface of the case is semicircular at one end and square at the other. The table surface is made of a whole piece of shadow wood. Under the table surface, there are two case tables, one square and one circular. The concave hole in the center of the round table coincides with the convex head in the center of the lower end of the semicircular table surface. The two cases are evenly divided into three layers, with each layer having a tapering hole, and the tapering hole is decorated with two rings. Drawers are arranged on either side of the square table and the round table. There are recesses in the drawer for placing jade articles (without sleeping bags), but the brocade lining the jade has been lost, and the outline of the jade article can only be roughly seen from the form of the recesses. In both cases, there were several embossed feet
This piece of furniture can be used as a bookcase. It is unique to the Qing Dynasty Palace and was originally placed in the Qianqing Palace due to its unique shape and exquisite design
