This throwing pot is used by Emperor Qianlong. The whole body is embossed with a Kui dragon pattern on the main body of the head, with two sides decorated with echo patterns. Each ear has three echo patterns, with Kui dragon patterns and lotus leaf patterns inside. The two ends of the neck are decorated with banana leaf patterns, and the square four sides in the middle are carved with seal characters. There is an inscription on the poem “Emperor Qianlong and Emperor Wuchen (the 13th year of Qianlong’s reign, 1748).”. The shoulder of the pot has a bead pattern, a Ruyi cloud pattern, and a tangled lotus pattern, implying good luck, prosperity, and purity. The main motif of the pot belly decoration is the Kui dragon pattern, with a circular border decoration between them, and a banana leaf pattern at the bottom
This throwing pot has an ancient and simple pattern, a dignified shape, and is elegant and stable. The text decoration and pattern patterns complement each other, making it a masterpiece of throwing pots in the Qing Dynasty
