Bottle gourd style, waist girdling, and looped feet. The waist is molded with lotus petal patterns, and the bottle is decorated with elongated ribbon ears on both sides. The entire body is covered with tea powder glaze. The outsole is engraved with six characters and three lines of characters in seal script “made in the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty.”
The factory official glaze is a high-temperature crystalline glaze that was first fired in the Tang Dynasty. During production, a colorant containing iron and magnesium in the glaze is hung on the blank and fired at a high temperature. The glaze is yellow green in color.
