Yixing Kiln Purple Clay Clay Painting Tea Cooking Drawing Title: Qianlong Emperor’s Poetry and Prose with Six Sides Holding the Pot in the Qing Dynasty, with a total height of 16.5 centimeters, a caliber of 4 centimeters, and a foot diameter of 4.3 centimeters
The pot has a hexagonal shape, a short neck, a long curved flow, and a crank. Attached is a hexagonal umbrella shaped cover with a pearl shaped button on top. On both sides of the pot belly, the corners are decorated with oblong lights, and on the other side, the imperial poem “Cooking Tea in the Rain and Sleeping in the Study Room”, made in the seventh year of Qianlong’s reign (1742), is printed and engraved. As the poem goes, “The streams are filled with smoke, the mountains are covered with rain, and the living clothes sit alone in the wind of willows and willows. The bamboo stove, the tea bowl, and the rice family’s calligraphy and painting will be different. The pine breeze, where the fish’s eyes are born, and the mid cold Three Gorges need not be distinguished. The fragrance, the fairy dew, and the poetic spleen are refreshing, and the fragrant embankments are not felt to turn between the seats.” On the other side, the clay inside is painted with a map of cooking tea
The body of the purple clay pot is yellow in color, delicate in texture, and neatly made. It should be used by the emperor.
