The bowl is round, with a closed mouth, a closed belly, and a flat bottom. The whole body is made of nirvana glass, with sections covered with red and blue colored glass. The shoulders and lower abdomen are covered with purple red glass, respectively carved with animal face patterns and double layer lotus petal patterns. The rim and outsole are covered with sapphire blue glass, decorated with a string pattern and a lotus leaf shaped bottom.
