The tobacco pot is oblate and has a flat bottom, with a copper gilded carved flower cover and an ivory spoon. The whole body is covered with white and red glass, and the abdomen is decorated with a panoramic view. The waves in the water hold a fairy pavilion surrounded by bats and swastika characters. A fairy crane flies to the pavilion with a scroll in its hand, displaying a picture of “adding funds to the sea”. The bottom of the pot is engraved with the regular script style of “Qianlong Year System”
This smoking pot was made by the glass factory of the Palace Manufacturing Office. The theme of this smoking pot was relatively rare during the Qianlong period.
