Qianlong Painting Enamel Kaiguang Landscape Mother and Child Flower Figure Melon Ribbed Box, Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, with a total height of 14.9cm, a caliber of 17.5cm, and a foot diameter of 12.2cm
The box is made in the shape of a six-petal melon ridge, with a mother and son mouth and rounded feet. The cover is high and raised, and inlaid with gold treasure beads. The entire body is decorated with a decorative belt carved with curly grass patterns and gilded with gold, which is divided into three layers: upper, middle, and lower. Each layer has six lights, and different landscapes and patterns are depicted inside. The upper layer is a traditional Chinese ink landscape painting, the middle layer is a gorgeous Western mother and child painting, and the lower layer is a fresh flower painting with folded branches. The light exterior is decorated with yellow tangled flower patterns. “The outer bottom is white glazed, and the center is blue with a double vertical regular script made in the Qianlong era written in both sides of the box.”
