Wang Jie’an Booklet Ink

[Wang Jie An Booklet Ink]

Wang Jie An Booklet Ink is a type of ink used in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, with a length of 7.85 centimeters, a width of 3.7 centimeters, and a thickness of 1.7 centimeters.
Ink Booklet Ink is in the form of a letter cover that opens to reveal the book’s appearance. The bookmark is inscribed with the Yangwen style of “Built by Wang Jie An in the Thirty Years of Qianlong” in regular script. On the ink, the part of the letter cover is decorated with a lotus flower pattern with tangled branches. The text and pattern were originally painted in gold, but the cash color has faded
The thirtieth year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty should be 1765. Although this ink mold carving does not reflect the highest level of Wang’s ink making, its chronological production style has important data value, which can prove that Wang’s ink making career began no later than the middle of Qianlong
