The framework of this clock is copper plated with gold, and each side is inlaid with blue chiseled enamel. The enamel is decorated with intertwined branches and peonies, and many parts are inlaid with red and white glass
The structure of the clock is divided into three parts. The base is square and has curly leaf shaped feet. The center of the front side is a clock plate. The left and right light openings of the clock plate and both sides of the base are made of water method. The upper part of the base is paved with water method and carved with a rolled “spray”, creating an image of the “ocean”. In the middle, a golden dragon’s giant head is raised, and water method is sprayed from its mouth, supporting the double-eaved pavilion with traditional Chinese architectural style on the upper part.
