[Coral Jade Jiqing Youyu Bonsai]

Coral Jade Jiqing Youyu Bonsai was built in the late Qing Dynasty at the manufacturing office, with a total height of 38.5 centimeters and a seat height of 6.8 centimeters. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The round summitsu with filigree enamel is filled with a blue echo pattern around the edge of the seat. The waist and near the foot are decorated with a lotus treasure phase pattern, and the waist is decorated with a lotus petal pattern on the upside down. In the middle of the seat is a coral tree with dry and green leaves, which is bright and dazzling. Under the tree, there are several lotus stems, wrapped around a green silk lotus stem and supported by one large and one small piece of emerald lotus leaves. The center of the leaves is inlaid with one pearl each, five pink and yellow tourmaline lotus flowers, two emerald lotus roots, and three ivory lotus roots are flat inlaid on a gilded seat. “Auspicious and Surplus” pendant is hung on a branch. The upper part of the pendant is a copper plated gold inlaid crystal chime, with a pink tourmaline bat inlaid in the center. The bat faces downward, holding a pink tourmaline lotus flower token in its mouth. Under the token, there is a pearl pendant attached. At both ends of the chime, there is also a large coral goldfish inlaid with deep red honey wax eyes. Each side of the tree is lined with a “Double Happiness and Longevity” pendant. The upper end of the “Double Happiness and Longevity” pendant is a coral goldfish, and the lower end is connected with yellow tourmaline coins. There are lugs on the outer edge of the coin. Under the ears, there are jade longevity characters, pearl rice bead dish intestines, and pink tourmaline gourds. The lowest end is a coral rice bead ear, which is exquisite and transparent
This scene is an auspicious ornament displayed during the celebration of the birthday in the palace. It is rich in materials, exquisite and beautiful, showing not only the wealth of the royal family, but also the unique ingenuity and exquisite skills of the producers.
