The pot is made of bamboo root sculpture, with a rectangular mouth, a flat body, a lid attached, a lotus petal shaped button covered, a neck tied, a drum belly, rectangular feet, and a flat bottom. The abdomen is decorated with two stringed patterns, with a relief pattern between them as the ground, and a double line relief animal face pattern on it. The two sides of the pot body are decorated with the same patterns, and the two sides of the shoulder are carved with double cloud ears
The kettle is a wine container that can also hold water. The shape of the pot has also been changing with the times, most of which are circular. This pot is modeled after bronze ware from the early and mid Warring States period. It is exquisite in shape and has ancient and simple patterns.
