Heding Red Ganoderma Lucidum Ruyi

[Heding Red Ganoderma Lucidum Ruyi]

Heding Red Ganoderma Lucidum Ruyi is 35.6cm long
Ruyi is carved in the Ganoderma lucidum style, with an orange and translucent color throughout, like jelly, with slight cracks. The ridges and edges of the decoration are red, presenting a different style. The tail of the handle is a yellow note, with the front side divided into two books: “The Empress Dowager bestowed a red ruyi handle on the top of a crane” and “Received on August 12, the 35th year of Qianlong’s reign.”
This kind of Ruyi was very rare in the Qing Dynasty, and there are few records in the Qing palace archives. It is quite clear that on November 24th of the 60th year of Qianlong’s reign (1795), an official of the Internal Affairs Office, Wailang, managed the Jiujiang Pass. Tang Ying once entered the Heding Red Ruyi Double Handle.
