Rhinoceros horn carved with three dragon handles and sea water dragon tiger design cup, in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, with a height of 9.6 cm and a caliber of 17 × 9.2 cm
The cup is carved from Asian rhinoceros horn. Steamed chestnut, bucket shaped, wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, large at the mouth, oval in shape, and rolled into a stream at one side. The edge of the mouth is decorated with a decorative band. The cup carving is made of three dragons. On the right side, a big dragon tightly grasped the mouth of the cup, and the head of the dragon stuck into the cup. The hair was as thin as hairline, the eyes were sharp, the mouth was slightly open, the teeth were clear, and the carving was fine and delicate. There are two small chi on the left side. The right claw of the small chi on the upper part pushes hard on the outside of the mouth edge, the left leg is placed on the shoulder of the big chi, the tail of the chi hangs into the cup, bends down, the small chi on the lower part straightens up, the two chi faces face to face, the four claws grip tightly, and is full of vitality. The wall of the cup takes the rough sea water as the brocade ground, the sea water is a parallel curve, as thin as hair, and the clouds on the sea waves are clear. The four flailing, lifelike dragon tigers roll through them, or look up, or look sideways, with different shapes. Even the spray splashes of the dragon tiger are finely carved. The foot is a high circle foot, oval, skimming, and decorated with a week of exquisite echoes. The device has uniform pattern layout, vigorous sabre technique, different forms of dragon, and extraordinary momentum. It is the best in rhinoceros horn carving.
