The bottle is straight and slightly skimmed, with a short neck, round belly and round feet. White glaze is applied inside and outside the body. A peach tree is painted in pastel on the bottle body, with luxuriant branches. It winds up from the bottom of the bottle along the belly, and eight large and full peaches fall on the branches. Apply white glaze inside the circle foot. On the outsole, there are six characters and three lines of Qinghua seal script “made in Yongzheng year of the Qing Dynasty”
The celestial sphere bottle is named for its shape like a celestial planet. This kind of utensil shape was first seen in the Yongle and Xuande periods of the Ming Dynasty, and was popular in the Yongzheng and Qianlong dynasties of the Qing Dynasty. It belongs to furnishings porcelain. Most of the pink peach-patterned celestial sphere vases made in later generations were fired based on the products of the Yong and Qian dynasties. The flat peaches painted on the pastel porcelain of the Yongzheng official kiln were painted with eight more peaches, while in the Qianlong period, nine more peaches were painted, so there is a saying of “Yongba Qianjiu”. The composition of this vase is sparse and clear, the glaze color is thick and light, and the painting is exquisite, which can be called the representative work of the pastel porcelain of the Yongzheng official kiln.
