Pink color hollowed-out lotus longevity cover box, Qing Yongzheng, with a total height of 13.2 cm, a diameter of 21.7 cm, and a foot diameter of 12.9 cm
The box is oblate, the upper and lower female openings are sleeved, the cover surface is raised, and the top of the cover is equipped with a bead-shaped button to circle the foot. There are 9 cells in the box, and the outer wall is painted with pastel patterns. The cover is first hollowed-out with a lotus pattern, the lotus center is hollowed-out with the word “longevity”, and then painted in pastel. The edge of the mouth is painted with gold color, the double lotus petal pattern is painted near the foot, and the ring foot outer wall is painted with echo. Turquoise green glaze is applied to the interior and foot of the ware, and the blue and white double circles in the center of the outsole are left blank, and the “Yongzheng Year” double-line four-character pattern is printed with blue and white materials
This box is decorated with the technique of hollow-out and color painting. The technique of hollow-out is skilled, and the color painting strokes are exquisite. It is a rare work in Yongzheng pastel porcelain. However, its decoration is more complicated and should be the work of Jingdezhen Royal Kiln Factory in the late Yongzheng period.
