[Songhuajiang inkstone made in the year of Yongzheng]
Songhuajiang inkstone of Yongzheng style is 12.5 cm long, 8.4 cm wide and 1.2 cm thick. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The inkstone is made of Songhua River stone with elegant texture. The inkstone is rectangular, and there are still traces of ink in the inkstone hall. The inkstone is carved and decorated with folded persimmons and wishful patterns, implying good luck in everything. On the back of the inkstone is an inscription inscribed by the emperor, “Use stillness for the purpose of eternal life.”. This is the inkstone used by the Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty
