The bowl should be skimmed, the abdomen should be closed down, and the circle feet should be skimmed. Yellow glaze is applied inside and outside. The outer wall is painted with green ribbons of auspicious clouds, and the middle is decorated with red bats with ribbons and gourds, implying “longevity and longevity”. This type of bowl, commonly known as “chicken heart bowl”, appeared in the Yongle and Xuande periods of the Ming Dynasty. The bowl follows the old system, but its shape is more beautiful.
