The name of the translator of Guangxi is Gui Kubalazi, a native of Dhanapu, Xietong County, Tibet. He is one of the famous translators who founded the Xinmi School in the late Hongji period. He went to India three times, and learned the second continuation method of his parents, such as “Jimi”, “Shengle Vajrayana” and “Four Seats”. He has 12 disciples who translated scriptures from the first place, known as “four pillars and eight beams”, forming the Gui Sect. The Gui School has made remarkable achievements in translating the secret scriptures and teaching methods, especially in interpreting the secret teaching methods of the Longshu School. Many of its works later became the classics of the supreme yoga class of the Gelug School
In the picture, Gui Translator is teaching sutra translation to the disciples. On the upper left is the statue of his guru Adi Gorge, on the upper right is the Dharma Protector of the Great Black God. There is a Tibetan inscription in gold at the bottom of the Thangka, the main idea of which is: the eldest disciple of the rear Tibet of the Adi Gorge, who has established all the methods of intensive achievements and explained the Dharma protectors such as the Great Dark Sky, is the Dharma propagandist.
