The image is made of Sakyamuni Buddha, but the handprints and objects are different. According to the prayer text on the back of the Thangka, it can be seen that it is thirty-five Buddhas. The Thirty-Five Buddha is derived from the Decisive Buddha Sutra, which is mainly the object of repentance for all living beings of evil karma, so it is also known as the Thirty-Five Repentance Buddha. This Thangka has a gold background and red cinnabar lines. The lines are exquisite and refined. It is also known as the Golden Tang. It is a valuable variety of Thangka
Behind the Thangka, there are the original seed characters and Tibetan prayers, the main idea of which is: “May you have good luck! Pray that all living beings and the author of the thirty-five Tathagata portrait, such as Lausang Qunpei, will never be suffering, obstacles and sins! Good luck! Good luck!” This Thangka retains the information of the creator, so it is even more precious.
