Copper gilded four elephants carrying a flower clock

[Copper gilded four-elephant piggyback clock]

Copper gilded four-elephant piggyback clock, England, 18th century. It is 124 cm high, 53 cm wide and 46 cm thick
The clock has four floors. The bottom layer is a mountain with snakes, lizards, crocodiles and other animals perched on the rocks. There are four brown elephants standing on the rocks on the second floor. There are circular flower racks on the back of the four elephants, and a circle of dancers is arranged in the center of the racks. The third layer is a copper-plated scroll grass skeleton, with a wide-belly bottle in the middle. There is a disk on the front of the bottle. There are five stone flowers on the disk, and there are four snakes connecting the head and tail between the flowers. There is a small watch embedded above the disc, and two pairs of male statues stand on both sides of the watch. On the top is a spire, with snakes coiled around it. The body of the snake is inlaid with stone flowers. There is a squatting Hercules on the tower, with seven-star flowers on the top. The machine part of this clock is in the middle of the bottle belly
After the chord is strung, the music starts, like the dancer on the back turning around. The belly flower of the bottle, the stone flower on the tower and the top gem flower all turn, while the snake swims. The clock is made by London Barbot.
