[Copper Gilded Goat Tuo Le Table]

Copper Gilded Goat Tuo Le Table, in 1766, is 96cm high, 40cm wide and 28cm thick
The clock is divided into three layers: on the lower layer, there are four turtles with a copper-plated base, and the base is embossed with traditional Western decorative themes — hunting pictures. The hounds are chasing the frightened elk, and the hunters are waiting with sticks. The middle layer is a sheep pack box. A strong goat stands on the base. The sheep’s girdle is decorated with flowers consisting of green, white, yellow and blue stones. In the middle of the sheep’s back, a strong man kneels down to hold a flowerpot, and uses a stone as a frame. Four elephants stand on the frame and carry a music box. The music box is carved with a forest god with a long sheep horn in the middle, and the four corners of the box are the little love god with wings. The top floor is a clock seat table, which stands on the platform of the music box. In the middle, there is an elephant carrying a time table. The manufacturer “Jas cox, London” is marked on the white porcelain dial. The watch is strung by the string hole on the dial. The key to the strung is also copper plated and engraved with the style “Jas cox, London 1766”. On the top of the columns on both sides of the table, there are Luxi kneeling to hold the flower basket
Jas cox is a famous British watchmaker in the 18th century. The best British watches collected by the Qing court are Jas cox.
