Copper plated enamel pocket watch with beaded border painting, Switzerland, 18th century, 5.5 cm in diameter and 1 cm in thickness
The pocket watch has a copper-plated case. The back cover of the watch is a blue ground flower bed tree flower pattern painted with enamel. The front and rear edges of the case are inlaid with pearls. The white enamel dial, with three needles, is keyed in the back cover of the watch. The movement uses the spring box, tower wheel and chain as the power source to drive the gear transmission system
This watch was made by Jaquet droz, a famous watchmaker in Switzerland in the late 18th century.
