The bottle is in the shape of a bell, so it is commonly known as the Ring Zun. It is a new device created by Jingdezhen Royal Kiln Factory during the Kangxi period. The abdomen is decorated with four blue and white patterns, and the blue and white materials near the foot depict zigzag patterns. The outsole is printed with six characters and three lines of money in blue and white regular script “made in Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty”. In the early Kangxi period, Liu Yuan, a calligrapher and painter who served as the head of the Ministry of Punishment as a tribute to the inner court, once managed the design of porcelain, collected the great achievements of porcelain modeling in previous dynasties, and created new ideas. The Draft of the History of the Qing Dynasty, Volume 505 (biographies 292), said: “At that time, the imperial kilns in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, came from hundreds of magnetic samples. They were designed by Liu Yuan, and were used in ancient and modern styles with new ideas and ingenious storage. They were especially excellent at painting figures, landscapes, flowers and birds.”
