The belt is made of bright yellow silk wool fabric. The hook and the plate are made of white jade. The hook is carved with the cloud dragon bat longevity pattern, and the plate is carved with more than (fish) patterns. The two belts are hung with white pigment spun silk, and the bottom is straight and neat. There are five hanging ornaments on the band: jade handle silver tire decorated with coral rice bead single happy character sheath knife 1, stone blue satin flat gold and silver lucky longevity oval purse 2, red satin flat gold and silver Kui dragon waist round purse 1, bright yellow satin flat gold and silver colored embroidery flower waist round purse 1, stone blue satin flat gold and silver colored embroidery celebrate longevity happy character fire sickle 1, the purse pendant decorated with red coral and turquoise bright yellow silk ribbon
This is the belt worn by the emperor of the Qing Dynasty when he wore the auspicious clothes. The production process and decoration methods are complex and varied. The exquisite workmanship of this belt shows the splendor of the Qing emperor’s clothing.
