Celestial Blue Glazed Animal Face Pattern Chi Ear Zun, Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, height 22.5 cm, caliber 11.9 cm, foot diameter 11.7 cm
The mouth should be slightly tilted, the mouth and feet should have the same diameter, the round belly and the round feet should be outwardly tilted, and the dragon ears should be symmetrically placed on both sides of the neck. White glaze is applied inside and sky blue glaze is applied outside. The whole body is decorated with antique bronze patterns, such as Kui Long, Kui Feng, Taotie and Huiwen. With white glaze on the bottom, there are six characters and three lines in blue and white regular script “made in Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty”
The shape of this statue is thick and dignified, and the glaze color is crystal clear and elegant, reflecting that the porcelain production process was quite mature during the Kangxi period.
