Yellow enamel bowl with peony pattern

[Yellow enamel bowl with tangled branches and peony patterns]

Yellow enamel bowl with tangled branches and peony patterns, in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, was 7.8 cm high, 15 cm in diameter, and 6 cm in foot diameter
The bowl is wide and the mouth edge is slightly rounded to the abdomen contour line. The inside of the bowl is plain and has no grain decoration. The outside of the bowl is painted with yellow color, and red, blue, green, pink, lotus and other colors are used to paint the blooming peony patterns. The blue regular script “made by Emperor Kangxi” at the bottom of the bowl has four characters, two lines and two sides of the box
Enamel colored porcelain in the Qing Dynasty was created and fired under the direct instruction of the emperor, and its artistic style adapted to the rich and magnificent decoration needs of the royal family, which was more attractive than the popular color fighting and multicolor porcelain at that time. Once it came out, it was hidden in the inner court of the imperial palace for the royal family to enjoy. Enamel color porcelain is all made of selected fine-body white porcelain fired by Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Factory. After being transported to Beijing, the enamel painter of the manufacturing office painted the color according to the imperial decree and baked at low temperature. Due to the dependence on import of enamel materials during the Kangxi period, the cost is relatively high and the production quantity is very limited. This bowl is the best of Kangxi enamel porcelain. It is dignified in shape, rigorous in painting, colorful, and mature in production technology.
