[Songhua River Shiguachi Inkstone]
Songhua River Shiguachi Inkstone, Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, 15.6 cm long, 10.5 cm wide and 1.4 cm thick. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The inkstone is made of Songhua River stone and rectangular. The surface of the inkstone is smooth, the inkstone pool is oblique and shallow, and the pool is carved with melon shape patterns and dragon patterns, which are exquisite and simple. Edges are carved around the inkstone surface to form a round inkstone hall. In the center of the bottom of the inkstone, Emperor Kangxi wrote:
The inkstone is ancient and moist, green and clear in color, and the ink is good, so it is also valuable
The seal script “Kangxi Chenhan” was signed later. The inkstone is matched with a shaped black paint painted gold inkstone box. The body of the box is thin and light. It is painted with beautiful stone flowers and pictures of cats catching butterflies. It is vivid and lovely
The inkstone muscle has a horizontal texture, with green shades, clear and beautiful, and the stone is easy to ink. This inkstone is exquisite and is specially made by the court of the Kangxi Dynasty in the Qing Dynasty
