[Imitation Ding kiln white glaze carved jade pot spring bottle with branch pattern]
Imitation Ding kiln white glaze carved jade pot spring bottle with branch pattern, Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, 14.2 cm high, 4 cm caliber, 5 cm foot diameter. In the Palace Museum
Bottle tray mouth, long neck, sagging belly, round foot. The whole body is painted with white glaze, the glaze surface has fine split patterns, and the mouth is dark gray, commonly known as “green sand mouth”, which is inlaid with copper buckle for imitation of Ding kiln porcelain of the Song Dynasty. The underglaze flowers are decorated with tangled flowers. The decorative patterns are arranged in a dense and orderly manner, and the decorative lines are clear and smooth
There are two main types of imitation Ding kiln porcelain in the Kangxi period: one is trying to imitate the ancient in terms of shape, glaze color, decorative patterns and other characteristics; The other type mainly imitates the glaze color of Ding white porcelain, and the shape and decoration are mostly popular in this dynasty
The body of this bottle is light, the glaze is even and clean, the glaze color is white and yellow, and the carving patterns are neat and delicate. However, the glaze is too bright and lacks the soft and moist charm of the glaze of Dingyao white porcelain in the Song Dynasty
