Painted flower pattern kang table in Kangxi, Qing Dynasty, 39 cm high, 160 cm long and 30 cm wide
The two ends of the table face have a round head and a pot door type leg. The surface of the table is decorated with red gold patterns, carved with camellias, butterflies and cave stones. Outside the open light is the brocade ground with red ten thousand square patterns, carved with peony, sunflower, lotus and camellia flowers. The edges and legs of the cutting board are covered with gold and double red lines, filled with dark eight immortal patterns and gold flowing clouds, and scattered with broken flower patterns. The inside and outside of the left and right board legs are filled with colorful lacquer carvings and lotus patterns. In the red paint, the regular script of “Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty” is engraved
The original note of “Shoukang Palace is in the account” in this case shows that this object was once displayed in Shoukang Palace. Shoukang Palace is the residence of the Empress Dowager and the Imperial Concubine. This is a palace product of the Kangxi period.
