[Shunzhi ChaoGlobe]
Shunzhi ChaoGlobe, Qing Shunzhi, height 19 cm, seat diameter 34 cm, ball diameter 10 cm. Made by the Imperial Academy of Heaven in the Qing Dynasty. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The globe is made of iron plated with gold. The base is octagonal. Each corner is decorated with a dragon head, and a globe is placed in the four columns of the base. This instrument is seriously rusted and blurred, but it can be seen that there are traces of gold plating on the ball diameter
This globe is the earliest one collected by the Qing Palace.
