Red sandalwood long table

[Red sandalwood long table]

In the early Qing Dynasty, it was 81.5 cm high, 99.5 cm long and 34 cm wide
The table is made of red sandalwood, with cylindrical legs at four corners, a cauldron between the legs, and a dwarf between the table and the cauldron. The table is made of round wood except the table top, with round and smooth lines
The corners of the four legs have obvious points, and the shape is stable and generous. The shape of the wooden table of Luoguo Chengjia dwarf is significantly different from that of the wooden table of the Ming Dynasty. The Ming-style table usually uses tooth bars or tooth heads under the surface, while the practice of using Luoguo Chengjia dwarf was not widely used until the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty. This small table is a representative work of the transition period from Ming-style furniture to Qing-style furniture
