The pot is round, flat bottom and shallow circle foot. The handle of the bottle is broken and the lid is well preserved. Deep chestnut sand mud, fine and smooth. The body and lid of the pot are painted with red, yellow, green, blue and other colors of enamel to depict mountains, flowers and birds. The patterns are fine and full of vitality. At the bottom of the vessel is a vigorous and regular regular regular script in the regular script pavilion, which reads: “The Yiyou Guiyue minister monk’s treasure was sincerely made by Shao Bangyou.” From then on, the full shape of the pot, the layout of the decoration, and the painting method of the double-horned peony have been analyzed, and it has the typical characteristics of the Kangxi porcelain. After the middle period of Kangxi, the court began to try to paint enamel on Yixing purple sand tea sets. In the early and middle period of the Qing Dynasty, there were three years in Yiyou: the second year of Shunzhi (1645), the forty-fourth year of Kangxi (1705), and the thirtieth year of Qianlong (1765). Enamel color has not appeared in Shunzhi Dynasty, and the painting method of double-horned peony has not been seen in Qianlong Dynasty, so the absolute production date of this pot should be the forty-fourth year of Kangxi (1705). The enamel color of Yixing fetus was painted and fired at the palace office by Yixing providing purple sand plain fetus. A number of Yixing enamel colored teapots and covered bowls made in the last years of Kangxi’s reign were collected in the Taipei Palace Museum. This pot is simple in shape, neat in outline and elegant in color. It is the only one of the Kangxi Yixing fetal enamel colored tea pots left in the Palace Museum
