The blade is made of steel. The snow blade is sharp and slightly curved. The handle of the knife is inlaid with copper, wrapped with purple ribbon, and inlaid with golden chrysanthemum and tung patterns. The sabre sheath pear is made of wood, and the whole body is painted with gold paint on the red ground. It is decorated with gold paint and chrysanthemum tung patterns. The trim and hoop at the end of the sheath are made of copper-plated gold, and the middle of the sheath is wrapped with colored ribbons for hanging. This kind of sabre is known in Japan as “pear flower, chrysanthemum and tung pattern, and the scroll sabre”. The sabre is the symbol of Japanese samurai. Its casting technology is excellent and refined, and it is the top grade of Japanese sabres
