Each picture has Yun Shouping’s title, which is stamped with “Shouping” white ink seal, “Zhengshu” white ink seal, “Shouping” white ink seal, “Yun Zhengshu” white ink seal, “Shouping” white ink seal, etc. Each picture has a poem written by Emperor Qianlong. The collection includes more than 20 items, such as “Qianlong Imperial Treasure”, “Chunhua Pavilion”, “Shiqu Treasure Collection”, “Minister Pang Yuanji Gongcang”, and “Xuzhai’s Best Product”
The third and tenth editions of this atlas are respectively marked with “Yimao Autumn” and “Yimao October”
“Yimao” is the 14th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1675). This work should be Yun Shouping’s work at the age of 43
This landscape flower atlas describes geese, lotus, landscape, ancient wood jackdaw, peony, Qiao Ke Ji Jian, early evening rain, chrysanthemum, orchid butterfly, stream and mountain travel, etc. The whole book is written by Lin Fangsong, Yuan and Ming. The landscape is dominated by Zong Dongyuan, Ju Ran, Mi Fu and Zhao Mengfu. It is beautiful and quiet, and full of literary style. The flowers and birds are dominated by Zong Xu Chongsi, Zhao Chang and Shen Zhou. They attach importance to sketching and strive to resemble each other. For example, the fifth open peony has flexible techniques, and the patriarchal Xu Chongsi’s boneless technique. At the same time, they also emphasize “communicating with the flowers”, strive to be sublime, pursue “simple and elegant”, do not deliberately seek work, but only seek natural charm, revealing the plain and elegant aesthetic interest that Yun Shouping has always pursued
