The picture depicts the scene of “the level of the willow and the green river, and the sound of singing on the Langjiang River”. According to Wang Shizhen’s “Talk on Couples in the North of Chi”, “Liu Village is between Hengshan Mountain, and Liang Yemei’s envoy read the book, which belongs to the Painting of Fishing and Joy in Liu Village painted by Jinling Fanqi.” From this, we can see that Liu Village really has its place in Hebei Province today. This picture was drawn by Fan Qi at the invitation of his friend Liang Yemei (that is, Liang Yunzhi, the word Chengdu, a native of Zhengding, Hebei Province, and the official governor of Yanping) to explain his homesickness of official travel. Fan Qi, as a painter in the south of the Yangtze River, gave full play to his imagination and represented the northern water town as a fishing village in the south of the Yangtze River, with smoke and fog, full of romantic poetry and poetic life. There are three poems written by Cao Rong, Xu Zhuo and Gu Leopard in the Qing Dynasty in the introduction and across the water, and the seal “ancient book” is printed in 9 directions. There are 11 poems inscribed by Wang Shizhen and Wang Maolin on the back paper, and the seal “Pengyuan Kaocang” is printed in 35 directions
