This pot is shaped like a monk’s hat, with a circle in the middle of the abdomen, an adduction in the neck, and a six-square lid, neck, and bottom. The cap is hidden in the brim wall, with a bead-shaped button. The jugular flow is placed at the joint of the abdomen and neck, and is flush with the mouth. This purple sand monk hat pot is based on the shape of porcelain. It is slightly fuller than the porcelain monk hat pot in the early Qing Dynasty. It should be the product after Jiajing and Daoguang.
