This work records the seven unique poems of Tang Dynasty Li Shen, titled “Opening the Holy Temple”. See Volume 477 of “All Tang Poems”. The center moves the pen, the lines are flexible, unrestrained and full of tension, the ink method is dizzy and changeable, and the picture is full of motion
There are three inscriptions and postscripts on the border, which are written by Ping Shengtai, Weng Fanggang and Boming. According to the inscription and postscript, Fu Shan’s painting was purchased by Mu Tang on the Shangyuan Festival in the forty-first year of Qianlong’s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1776). At the same time, he also got the handwriting of Ni Yuanlu. Mu Tang is Cao Xuemin.
