Cao Cao escaped to Zhongmou County because of his attempt to assassinate Dong Zhuo, and was captured by officials. Chen Gong, the county magistrate, secretly released Cao and abandoned his official and fled with him. When I met Lv Bo and treated him with great hospitality, Cao Xin was suspicious and killed the Lv family. Chen Gong complained about Cao’s inhumanity and abandoned him.
