Filigree enamel lotus pattern box, late Qing Dynasty, 14.5 cm high, 13.7 cm caliber, 7.7 cm foot diameter. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The box has a round body, a female mouth, a ring foot, and a half cover and half box. The top of the cover is made of a lotus bud button, and the bottom of the button is supported by a copper gilt carved lotus petal pattern base. The cover and the wall of the box are decorated with four lotus flowers, which are red, yellow, blue and white, symmetrical from top to bottom
This object was originally stored in the Shouhuang Hall in Jingshan outside the Forbidden City. The Shouhuang Hall is the place where the remains of emperors of the Qing Dynasty are hung
