[Cuidiao Begonia style goblet]
Clear, 19.7cm high, 10.4 caliber × 6.8 cm
Emerald green is the weathered skin color with emerald skin. Cuigu Begonia petal-shaped mouth, trumpet-shaped neck, feet flapped. The neck and feet are decorated with banana leaf patterns, and the abdomen is decorated with raised animal face patterns. At the bottom is the seal script “made in Qianlong”
The Gu is an ancient drinking utensil. In the Ming Dynasty, it was popular to use the Gu as furnishings, placing it on the desk and inserting sundries. The court of the Qing Dynasty is also known as the flower goblet. This Gu is an antique work of the Qianlong period, and its shape, pattern and decoration are different from ancient artifacts. The green material used contains green, which is similar to the rust color of ancient bronze ware.
