[Black lacquer inlaid mother-of-pearl inlaid with gold tribute map rectangular box]
Black lacquer inlaid mother-of-pearl inlaid with gold tribute map rectangular box, in the early Qing Dynasty, 6.8 cm high, 40 cm long, and 30 cm wide
The box is rectangular, with a flat cover. The cover is made of thin mother-of-pearl and painted with gold to make a “tribute map”. The middle part is a temple, surrounded by flowers and trees, and the peaks in the distance are looming, and the white clouds are elegant. The lower part of the picture is a three-hole bridge. There are 27 people on the bridge, including elephant drivers, lions, corals, camels, etc., with different shapes. The bustling avenue leads to the upper hall. The pattern is made of thick gold, and the shell sand is inlaid with trees, and the golden color is used to draw the cloud patterns in the sky. The three dragon heads exposed in the clouds are inlaid with thin shell sand. This box is exquisite in craftsmanship, ingenious in design, and finely inlaid. Its decoration is gorgeous
This is a masterpiece and model of the combination of thin mother-of-pearl inlay and gold painting, reflecting the exquisite craftsmanship of mother-of-pearl lacquer in the Qing Dynasty
