The Hengfang Stele was established in September of the first year of Jianning (168) of the Eastern Han Emperor Ling. Rubbings are 223 cm long and 107 cm horizontal. The official script has 23 lines and 36 characters. The inscription on the tablet is “The Stele of Qing Heng Mansion Prince, the former guard of the Han Dynasty”, with 2 lines and 10 characters. There is a vertical grid between the two lines. The master of the tablet is Heng Fang, and the character Xing Zu. Beijing Zhaoyin and Bing Bu Xiaowei have achieved political achievements. Zhu Deng, an old official, carved stones to praise his merits. At the end of the inscription, there are two lines of small characters: “Zhudeng in Leling, Mensheng Plain, Zhongxishu.” The tablet was originally located in Guojialou, Wenshang, Shandong Province. In 1730, the Wenshui flood broke down in the eighth year of Yongzheng’s reign in the Qing Dynasty, and the tablet sank and was rebuilt by Guo Chengxi.
